Leamon Wall

Leamon Wall passed away on October 9, 2016 in Temple, TX. Services are scheduled for Thursday, October 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Temple. There will be a private burial following the service. Visitation will be from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 12, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Leamon was born in County Line, TX to the late Jesse Curtis Wall and Willie Dixon Wall. He grew up in and around Moody. Leamon started to work at an early age. His father owned a grain and cattle business in Moody, and Leamon started driving trucks for his father after he finished school. He served his country in the Army/Airforce during WWII. After the war, he came back and married Doris Alene Gilbreath in 1949. They had two sons, Donald Lee and Ronald Dean Wall. Leamon started in the real estate business and home building in the 1950’s. Leamon referred to his business as Leamon Wall Realtor/Builder. He spent over thirty years building houses in the Temple area, and a much longer time selling real estate in the area. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife, Doris. Leamon is survived by his two sons; three granddaughters; two great-grandsons; and one great-granddaughter.
