Leo Wolff Gallaway age 101 of Flat, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 in Temple. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 15, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Bob Phillips officiating. The family will receive visitors from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery. She was born on Feb. 17, 1915 in the Seattle community of Coryell County, now part of Ft. Hood. She was the daughter of the late William Frederick and Dosha Dixon Wolff. She attended schools in Seattle, County Line and graduated high school at The Grove. She married J.T. Gallaway on Sept. 7, 1935 in a vehicle in front of Bro. Ollie Williams home. Leo accepted Christ in her life as a teenager and was Baptized in Owl Creek by Bro. Williams. She was a lifetime member of Cold Springs Baptist Church. She loved being a housewife, taking care of her family and enjoyed having guests drop in and visit. She also loved gardening, flowers, cooking and all kinds of needlework. She was always busy, loved her extended family and enjoyed family get-togethers. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, J.T. Gallaway in 1992; eight brothers, Charlie, Edd, Alvie, Huey, Otto, Buck, Dodie, Herman and an infant sister, Geneva. She is survived by her daughter, Cathy (Susie) Truss and husband, Bill; son, Tim Gallaway and wife, Lisa; four grandchildren, David Truss and wife, Lisa, Jeff Truss and wife, Julia, Angel Heath and husband, Cliff and Ty Gallaway; 11 great grandchildren, Jake, Skye, Jett, Jill, Natalie, Isaac and Austin Truss, Hunter, Hannah, Colt and Cash Heath; and several nieces and nephews.
