Charline Stella Teague

Charline S. Teague, age 87, of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, July 16, 2009 at a local hospital. Memorial Services are scheduled for 2:00 PM Monday, July 20, 2009 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Charline was born January 18, 1922 in Houston, Texas. She was the daughter of Oscar McMullen and Birdie Lee Vaden McMullen. Charline was involved in many political movements throughout her life. She received letters from The Carters and Nancy Reagan. Charline was very artistic and showed that through her contributions to the memory of Elvis with a number of paintings, models and one the largest collections of memorabilia in the state. Charline visited with Vernon Presley, father of Elvis. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Listo Teague and three brothers. Survivors include son; Glenn Teague, daughters; Wanda Loggins, Memory Lord and Lana (Patricia) Franson, sister; Mildred Smith, grandchildren, Jason Moore, Robert, Mike, and James Loggins, Shane, Brett and Bubba Franson and Marc Gill, and numerous great grandchildren including Jadan Moore.
