Jerry Westerfeld

Jerry Don Westerfeld, age 74, of Crawford, passed away Thursday, November 10, 2016. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, November 12, 2016 at St. John Lutheran Church in Coryell City with Pastor Christopher Richmann officiating. Burial will follow at St. John Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., Friday, November 11, 2016 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Jerry was born on March 17, 1942 in Waco, Texas to the late Gilbert Joe Westerfeld and Vernita Weiss Westerfeld. He attended school in Crawford, and graduated from Crawford High School in 1961. Jerry married Connie Tate on June 24, 1988. He worked for Cameron Mills for many years and L3 until his retirement. He was a member of St. John Lutheran Church. Jerry is survived by his wife, Connie Westerfeld; daughter, Terry Puryear and husband, Daren of Corinth; son, Charles Tate and wife, Alicia of Crawford; numerous grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
