Tinsey L. Carr

Tinsey Carr of Evant, formerly of Mission and Falcon Heights, TX passed away on November 23, 2016. Graveside services will be held, 2:00 p.m. Saturday December 3, 2016, at Brown Community Cemetery in Killeen, TX. Tinsey was born in Sweetwater, TX to the late Willie Brown and Lena Swindle. At the age of 10, Tinsey moved with her family down to South Texas in the Valley. She married Charles R. Carr III in Mission, TX on March 19, 1954. Tinsey played the organ for her Baptist Church most of her adult life. She also loved to read and especially crochet. Tinsey was preceded in death by her parents, husband Charles R. Carr III; grandson Roger Pate II. Tinsey is survived by her daughters, Carolyn Malone and husband, Daniel, Nannette May and husband, Doug; sons, Lt. Col. Charles R. Carr IV, Craig Carr, Clinton Carr; sisters, Evelyn Stroud, Mary Mosely; 26 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
