Margie Mae Sparks Sims

Margie Mae Sparks Sims, age 82, of Gatesville passed away Friday, December 2, 2016. Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 6, 2016 at Restland Cemetery with Rev. Jess McCabe officiating. Margie was born on January 25, 1934 in Erath County, Texas to the late Raymond Sparks and Delva Young Sparks. She married Harvey Sims in 1952, and they were married for 54 years until his passing in 2006. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harvey Sims; and son-in-law, Eddie Benson. Margie is survived by her daughters, Debbie Benson, Vickie Benson and husband, Johnny, and Brenda Lambert; one sister; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
