Lalen Woodlock

Marvin Lalen Woodlock, age 74, of Gatesville, passed away Friday, July 31, 2009 in Round Rock, Texas after a very lengthy illness. There is no service scheduled at this time. Lalen was born September 9, 1934 in Dallas, Texas. He was the son of Marvin Baker Woodlock and Sallie Shanks Woodlock. Lalen attended Dallas Schools and North Texas University. Lalen served in the US Army from 1955 until 1959. He retired from the Dallas Post office after many years of service. Lalen was preceded in death by his parents, sister; Joyce and son; Alan. Survivors include daughter; Donna Griffen, sister; Sue Evans and husband Sammy, 3 grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins whom he loved very much.
