William Glenn Pruett

William Glenn Pruett, age 82, of the Pearl community, passed away in Gatesville on Saturday, December 24, 2016. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mr. Pruett was born on February 5, 1934 in Milam County, Texas to the late William Maston Pruett and Vernie Wells Pruett. He spent his childhood in the Marlin area and later worked in Dallas and Gatesville before retiring in Pearl. He was also preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters. Mr. Pruett is survived by his wife, Kay Herrman Pruett of Pearl; two sons, Darrell Glenn Pruett of Salisbury, NC and William Russell Pruett of Gatesville; three granddaughters, Sydnee Lee Pruett of Albuquerque, NM and Amanda and Victoria Pruett of Salisbury, NC; and one sister, June Maricle of Mineola, TX.
