Linda Marie Keadle, age 68, of Robinson passed away Sunday, January 8, 2017. Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, January 12, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Rev. Tim Crosby officiating. Burial will follow at McGregor City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 11, 2017 at the funeral home. Linda was born on May 18, 1948 in Waco, Texas to the late Walter Henry Wiese and Carleen Frances Adler Wiese. She started school at Midway Elementary until 1957, when the family moved from South Bosque and purchased a farm near Oglesby, Texas. She graduated from Oglesby High School in 1966, and then continued her education with a course of study through Durham Business College in Waco. Linda worked in banking and insurance in the Waco area and Presbyterian Hospital in Dallas in the administration area. She married the love of her life, Wylie Eugene “Gene” Keadle in November of 1975 in Garland, Texas. After the birth of their only child, Brian, they moved to the Wiese family farm in 1981, and also started Gene’s Heating and Air in Gatesville, Texas, operating the business together for 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and aunt. Her favorite pass times were being with her family, working crossword puzzles, playing solitaire on the computer, traveling, and shopping. She was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Gene Keadle, Jr.; mother; father, and step-mother, Emma Goessler Wiese. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Brian Keadle and wife, Samantha; brother, Walter J. Wiese and wife, Frances; sister, Shirley Carbuhn and husband, Arnold; grandchildren, Ashley and Braden Keadle; nephew, Aaron Carbuhn and wife, Amanda; great-nieces, Karington and Makenna Carbuhn; special cousins, Louise Frosch, Mike Fair, and David Fair. The family would like to thank the staff of Westview Manor in McGregor, Texas and Providence Hospice for their loving care of Linda.
