Sharon D. Hill

Sharon D. Hill passed away at Gatesville on January 13, 2017, of natural causes. She was born March 15, 1948, in Aurora, Colorado, to Kenneth and Mary Hill. Shari served in the U.S. Army as a JAG officer with the rank of Captain and as a civil servant, including time at Fort Hood. She was later an antique dealer in Salado. Ms. Hill is survived by her mother, Mary Hill, of Georgetown; daughter, Grace (Billy) Tuton of Salt Lake City, Utah; three grandchildren, Victoria, Jackson, and Oliver; sister Cindy Barnes of San Diego, California; and brother Kenneth Hill of Washington state. A memorial service will be held for Shari in the Veterans Administration Chapel east of Teague Hospital, 1901 Veterans Memorial Drive, Temple, Texas, on Tuesday, February 21, at 10:00 a.m. All are welcome.
