Norma Nichols

Norma Nichols, age 82, of Gatesville passed away Tuesday, March 7, 2017. Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Norma was born on March 31, 1934 in Gatesville, Texas to the late Roy Milburn Holden and Olivia Tatum Bell. She attended school in Gatesville, graduating from Gatesville High School. She graduated from Vocational Nursing in Gatesville, Texas in 1971. Norma worked at Coryell Memorial Hospital, retiring from nursing in 1999. She attended Live Oak Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; and two brothers. Norma is survived by her daughters, Vickie Davis and husband, Jim, Dez Langston and husband, Kirk, and LuAnne Dossey; sons, Lonnie Dossey, Jr. and Ronnie Dossey and wife, Melinda; grandchildren, Toby Bagwell, Wills Cathey, Jud Wolff, Amy Wolff Comer, Davinda Shelton, Angela Simons, Jessica Key, Jacob Dossey, Veronica Dossey, Erica Guardiola, and Megan Horton; nine great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; siblings, Ronnie Bell, Sandra Thomas, Carol Reed, Mary Key, Frankie Holden, and Thomas Holden; and numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
