Jefferson Davis

Jefferson Davis, age 58, of Gatesville passed away Friday, March 24, 2017. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Weaver Chapel Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral service. Jefferson was born on September 15, 1958 in Gatesville, Texas to the late John and Elizabeth Meador Davis. He graduated from Gatesville High School in 1976. Jeff worked construction most of his life and also worked on Ft. Hood doing government contracts. He was also a member of the First Baptist Church, enjoyed sports especially the Dallas Cowboys. Jeff also enjoyed playing golf. Jefferson is survived by his sister, Nancy Ashcraft and husband, Bill of Gatesville; brother, John Davis and wife; Mitzi; nieces, Ann Longoria, Amanda Hudson; nephews, David Ashcraft and Judson Davis; and many others family members.
