Reuben Riske

Reuben Riske, age 85 of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2017 in McGregor. Memorial services will be held at 3:00 p.m., Saturday, May 6, 2017 at the St. John Lutheran Church Parrish Hall in Coryell City. Reuben was born on July 15, 1931 to the late Walter and Martha Loesch Riske. He grew up in Gatesville and resided in the Gatesville area most of his lifetime. He worked at Schaub Mill and Grain and was a farmer. He was a member of the Lutheran faith. Reuben was a loving and caring father and husband. He was a hard worker. He loved country and western music, dancing and watching old western movies. He is survived by a daughter, Mary Booker of Gatesville; son, Sam Riske of Austin; three grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
