He was a Christian that was raised in the Church of Christ and taught all his children about the Lord. Forest had the fortune of knowing and falling in love with Lupe Retana and her girls later in life. They met from working together at T.D.C.J. and began dating in 2004 to eventually marrying in 2009. The last 13 years, they brought so much joy to each other. They loved to take spontaneous trips and sometimes with no destination in mind, but were always on the lookout for a Waffle House.
