Jack Sellers

Mr. Jack Sellers, age 87, of Gatesville, passed away on September 14, 2009 at a local hospital. Graveside services are scheduled for 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2009 at the Ater Cemetery with Rev. Tom Beaty officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Mr. Sellers was born on August 2, 1922 to the late Almond and Ellen Wilson Sellers. Mr. Sellers was a master craftsman and the owner and operator of Sellers Cabinet Shop with his brother Vance for many years. Jack enjoyed rebuilding old tractors and engines along with hunting and fishing. He married Gwendolyn Whisenhunt on January 1, 1942. He loved her more than anything in this world. He was a member of the first United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Gwendolyn Sellers in August 2009 and ten brothers and sisters. He is survived by several nieces and nephews, loved ones and friends. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Ater Cemetery.
