Johnnie Patterson

Johnnie (Kajun Kid) Patterson, age 65, of Gatesville, passed away Monday, July 17, 2017 in Temple. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, July 20, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jess McCabe officiating. The family will receive visitors one hour prior to services at the funeral home. Johnnie was born on July 15, 1952 in Gatesville to the late B.T. and Joyce Terrell Patterson. He married Jackie Herring on July 14, 2007. He loved bullriding, driving cross-country in his Peterbilt, and playing with his grandson. Johnnie is survived by his wife, Jackie; daughter, Amber Tippit and husband, Cody; brother, Bobby Patterson and wife, Mellyna; sister, Diane Patterson; grandson, Jakson Tippit; and numerous other family and friends.
