Tracy Dawn Hudler (nee Brown), age 50, of Wimberley, Texas, tragically was lost to her family when she perished in an automobile accident Friday, July 28, 2017. Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, August 11, 2017 at Scott's Funeral Home in Gatesville, Texas. Tracy was born on November 18, 1966 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Helen Mae Brown Copeland and Cecil Lloyd Brown. Tracy was a resident of the Dallas area for most of her life; she was a 1985 graduate of Skyline High School, where she excelled as a saxophone player in the Marching and Jazz Bands. Tracy was happiest when assisting others, and she demonstrated this commitment to helping others not just in words, but in actions. In addition to raising her children, Tracy spent over 30 years excelling in many aspects of the food service industry, including management of restaurants, catering services, school cafeterias, and delicatessens. She was a loving, loyal, and protective mother, sister, aunt, wife, and friend who will be missed more than any words can express. She was preceded in death by her mother, Helen Mae Brown Copeland; beautiful son, Joseph Sandy Hudler; nephew, Joshua Lee Minshew; and cousins, Gordon Christopher Hall, and Telaine Marie Nedd. She is survived by her loving sons, Jared Scott Hudler and James Stanley Hudler and her husband, Byron E. Hudler; sister, Kelli Cecile McDonald; brother, William Scott Brown; nieces and nephews, Jessica, Bryan, Jennifer, Meagan, Alex, Cory, and Maddie; aunt and uncle, Billie Marie Nedd and Henry Nedd; as well as other family and friends.
