Emily Wallace

Emily F. Wallace, age 99, of McGregor, passed away Friday, August 11, 2017. Family graveside services will be held at Jonesboro Cemetery. Emily was born on July 1, 1918 in Jonesboro, to the late Alfonso and Thelma Thompson Watson. She married Albert Thurman Wallace in 1938 and they lived in Jonesboro for many years, later moving to McGregor where they resided most of their married lives. He preceded her in death September 1, 1990. She and her husband owned and operated the McGregor Milk Bucket. She was an active member of the First United Methodist Church of McGregor and served on the bereavement committee for many years. Emily is survived by her daughters, Carolyn F. Wallace of McGregor, Ginger Kirkpatrick of Trophy Club, and Janet S. Buth of McGregor; sons, A.T. Wallace, Jr. of McGregor, Macky T. Wallace of Katy, and Jacky A. Wallace of Godley; grandchildren, Shae Lynn Rice, Brett Roe, Brian Buth, J.R. Graham, Brandon Bishop, Colin Wallace, Scott Wallace, and Andrew Wallace; and many great and great-great-grandchildren.
