Debora (Debby) Mann

Debora Carol Johnson Mann, age 63, of Gatesville, passed away peacefully Tuesday, September 26, 2017 at her home. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 30, 2017 at White Mound Baptist Church, with Rev. Bruce Cox officiating. Debby was born on May 13, 1954 in Austin, Texas to the late Harold Johnson and Joyce Ryman Johnson. She married William Wayne (Bill) Mann on November 2, 1976, and he preceded her in death on December 10, 2015. She stayed at home raising her children and in 1988 she started her own business, Walnut Hill Safety Campaign. She attended White Mound Baptist Church. She was a devoted mother, sister and grandmother who left behind a legacy of love. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Jeffrey Joel Johnson, in 2006; and a great-grandson, Leo Xavier Gomez, in 2016. Debby is survived by her son, Willie Mann and wife, Jennifer of Gatesville; daughters, Wendy Mann of Gatesville, Brandi Bailey-Mann of LaGrange, Terrye Lawhon and husband, James of Austin, and Maimee Zamarron and husband, Jose of Forney; sister, Sue Baillio and husband, Brett; and 18 grandchildren.
