Juanita Robbins

Juanita Robbins, age 85, of Gatesville, passed away Sunday, October 1, 2017. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bruce Cox officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral services. Private burial will follow at a later date. Juanita was born on May 31, 1932 in Troy, Oklahoma to the late Ben Marine and Ruth May Boyer Marine. She married Roy Dale Robbins on October 1, 1949. They resided in Gatesville most of their married lives. Juanita worked at T.D.C.J. as a correctional officer, retiring after 20 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and a sister. Juanita is survived by her daughter, Sharon Dyer; sons, Jimmy Ray Robbins and wife, Debra and Joe Len Robbins and wife, Christy; sister, Frances Tate and husband, Billy; 10 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Memorials may be made to the charity of your choice.
