Donald James Blake, Sr.

Donald James Blake, Sr., age 78, of Waco, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2017. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, October 16, 2017 at Restland Cemetery, with Pastor James Baker officiating. Donald was born on April 17, 1939 in Laconia, New Hampshire to the late Clyde Durbin Blake and Gladys Eva Grant Blake. He worked at AAFES in Waco, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Mary C. Blake, Ann Sirles; and brothers, Harvey C. Blake, Clyde D. Blake, Jr., and Russell R. Blake. Donald is survived by two sons, Donald Blake, Jr., Stephen Blake; daughters, Judy Blake, Donna Blake; his brothers, Raymond L. Blake and wife, Norma of Gatesville, John E. Blake of Hamilton, Daylon V. Blake of Houston, Alfred E. Blake of Laconia, New Hampshire, Robert R. Blake of Laconia, New Hampshire, and Paul W. Blake of Laconia, New Hampshire; and sisters, Sheila Green and Linda Brown, both of Laconia, New Hampshire.
