Frank Allen, Jr.

Frank Allen, age 79, of Gatesville passed away on Friday, November 3, 2017. Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 8, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at the Osage Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Frank was born on September 14, 1938 to the late Gilbert Franklin and Lenora Martin Allen in McGregor, Texas. He attended school in Gatesville and served several years in the National Guard. In his later years, he was a contractor and builder in the Gatesville area. Frank was a member of Grace Assembly Church. Frank married Clayda Parrish Hedgepeth in 1981 and they were married 35 years when she passed away. In 2014, Frank married Kay Babb Williams Frank was preceded in death by parents; wife, Clayda; and two daughters, Diana Gibson, Claydene Slover. Frank is survived by his wife, Kay Williams Allen; daughter, Kathy Chambers and husband, Steve; son, David Allen; step-children, Sheryl Klepac and husband, Robert, Jeannette Caddel; brother, Charles Allen and wife, Shirley; an adopted son, Christopher Stevens; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
