Sarita Ann Goolsby

Sarita Ann Goolsby, 76, passed away December 1, 2017 in McGregor. Memorial services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 8, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Terry Johnston officiating. Ann was born in Gorman, Texas on November 30, 1941. Her parents were William H. and Ruby Carter. She attended McGregor Schools and went on to Mary Harden Baylor where she received her Bachelors in Education. Ann was a teacher for the Texas public school systems for 35 years. She loved reading but most of all spending time with her nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; and siblings, George Carter, Aubrey Carter, Juanita Cox, and Becky Mackey. Survivors include her sisters, Jean Gomez and Ruthie Willis and husband, Maurice; 11 nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
