Earl Wayne Billings

Wayne Billings, age 53, of Gatesville, passed away at his home on Monday, December 4, 2017. A memorial service is scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, December 16, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Wayne was born on April 17, 1964 in Blackwell, Oklahoma to the late Jack Billings and Mary Huser Billings. At an early age, he moved to Kansas where he grew up and attended Neodesha High School. After school, Wayne joined the National Guard, serving for 12 years. Wayne worked in construction his entire life, and worked for Ebco Contractors. His hand was involved in building so much around the central Texas area. He loved the outdoors including, hunting, dirt track racing, demolition derbies, and digging arrowheads. Wayne loved his family more than anything. He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Hancock; father, Jack Billings; stepdad, James Hancock; and sisters, Cindy, JoAnn, and Carol Krege. Wayne is survived by his wife, Bonny Billings; daughters, Whitney Billings and Kyla Rodriguez and husband, Daniel; son, Bryson Billings and wife, Kendra; granddaughters, Taryn Billings and Cassidy Rodriguez; sister, Tracy Sexton and husband, Greg; and brothers, Roger Krege and wife, Connie, Loren Krege and wife, June, Terry Krege, David Krege, Ronald Billings and wife, Melody, and Malcom Billings and wife, Eugina.
