Vickey Mitchell

Vickey Mitchell, age 61, of Gatesville, passed away Wednesday, December 27, 2017. Funeral Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial will following at Hines Chapel in Lampasas County. No visitation is scheduled. Vickey was born on December 13, 1956 in Fort Worth, Texas to Clint and Patsy Hodges Mitchell. She graduated from Tascosa High School in 1974. After high school, she attended Hardin-Simmons University in Abilene. Vickey worked as a travel agent for Carlson Wagonlit in Bedford, Texas for many years. She married Patrick Mitchell on July 12, 2013. She was preceded in death by her sister, Julie Mitchell Vickey is survived by her husband, Patrick Mitchell; son, Chris Roberts and wife, Michelle; daughter, Kassie Rockey and husband, Brody; mother, Patsy Burnell and husband, Richard; father, Clint Mitchell and wife, Judy; step-daughter, Whitney Kent; brother, Rodney Mitchell; grandchildren, Brayden, Tyler, Hailey Roberts, Brayden, Kolbi Rockey, Kaylee, and Emory Kent.
