Lesli J. Walker

Lesli Walker, age 54, passed away at home in Gatesville surrounded by her family. Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home with burial following at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be an hour prior to the service. Lesli Walker was born on August 30, 1963 in Gatesville to Ronny and Patsy Williams Fisher. She graduated from Gatesville High School in 1981. Lesli married David Lee Walker on September 25, 1981. They were married 23 years before he passed away. Lesli started working in high school at City Drug until they closed. She also worked at Wal-Mart pharmacy and enjoyed keeping kids in her home. Most importantly, she loved being a mother to her girls and her beloved dachshunds over the years. Lesli was preceded in death by her husband, David Lee Walker on May 21, 2004. Lesli is survived by her daughters, Ashlea Walker and Sarah Walker; father, Ronny Fisher and wife, Kay; mother, Patsy Thompson; two brothers, Steve Fisher and partner, Brian Wimberly, Neal Fisher and wife, Amanda and many nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu flowers, memorials may be given to American Cancer Society.
