Wilma Ruth Brading

Wilma Ruth Brading, age 85, of Gatesville, passed away Sunday, January 28, 2018. A Memorial service is planned for 2:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at 1347 CR 137 Gatesville, TX. Wilma was born on January 5, 1933 in Oglesby, TX, to the late Martin Luther and Inez Maxwell Argabright. She attended school and graduated from Oglesby High School with perfect attendance. After high school, Wilma received her LVN certification. She married H.A, Brading in 1952, and they resided in McGregor for a short time before moving to Gatesville. Mr. Brading preceded her in death in Jan. 2002. Wilma also was known to drive “big rigs” with her husband. Wilma loved her family and loved to garden. Spending time with her family is what really brought the twinkle to Wilma’s eyes. She was preceded in death by her husband, H.A. Brading; parents; brother, Kermit Argabright; and good friend, Hattie Mae. Wilma is survived by her daughter, Carol Curry; son, James Brading; brothers, Martin and James Argabright; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren; and good friend, Ken Shoaf.
