Bill Curt Norman

Mr. Bill Curt Norman, age 66 , of LaMarque, passed away on November 17, 2009. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 23, 2009 at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. Burial, with military honors, will follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 2-4:00 P.M. on Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Norman was born on December 23, 1942 in Temple, Texas to the late William Curtis and Virginia Brookshire Norman. He served in the US Air Force Special Forces as a Green Beret. He won the National Tae Kwon Do Title several times and was a part of the US Olympics in 1968. He was employed as an electrician for Brown and Root. He is preceded in death by his parents, a daughter, Sheril Maldonado, and a brother, Terry Dale Norman. Mr. Norman is survived by a son, Robert Edward Lee Norman and wife Dawn; daughters, Nancy Jean Hennigan and husband Nick, Susan Rosas and husband Javier, and Johnnie Norman; the mother of his children, Wanda Jean Norman; sisters, Nancy Marie Pacl and husband Timothy, and Robyn Norman; brothers, Larry Pierce, Dick Norman, Denny Norman, Dutch Norman, Steve Norman, and Chris Norman; 9 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.
