Marvin Eugene Sharp, 86, of Odessa passed away Monday, November 23, 2009 at Medical Center Hospital. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 25, 2009 at the Restland Cemetery in Gatesville, TX with Rev. Owen Sharp & Aaron Sharp officiating. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. Tuesday at Scott’s Funeral Home in Gatesville. He was born January 6, 1923 in Coryell County, TX. He was a U.S. Army veteran. He was retired from Great Western Drilling Co. He was a Baptist. He is survived by his wife, Mildred Sharp of Odessa, son, Owen Sharp & wife Sharon of Odessa, daughter, Trudy Vaughn & husband Brian of Paradise, CA, brother, George Sharp of Abilene, sister, Geneva Morgan of Frankston, TX, (3) grandchildren, Aaron & Elaina of Little Elm, TX, Kristina & Zackery Vaughn of Paradise, CA.
