Bonnie Ingram Cook, age 85 of Gatesville, passed away on March 30, 2010 in Temple. Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Thursday, April, 1, 2010 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at the Pidcoke Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 6-8:00 P.M. on Wednesday at the funeral home. Bonnie was born on July 4, 1924 in Marlin, TX to the late William Thomas and Bonnie Laura Loggins Ingram. She attended school in Gatesville and Ireland, graduating from Ireland High School. She graduated from Business College. She met John Dearmore while he was serving in the US Army at Ft. Hood, they married in 1945. She later married J.R. Cook in 1964. He preceded her in death in 2002. Bonnie worked as a secretary for various types of businesses throughout her life. She loved music and played the piano, often entertaining those in the nursing home. She also loved gardening. She was a member of Eastwood Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.R. Cook and her parents. Bonnie is survived by her son, Bill Dearmore and wife Judy of Belton; and sisters, Doris Cottongame of Waco, Ruth Sevier of Florida, and Mattie Ward of Victoria; grandchildren, Billy Tippit, Billy Bob Dearmore, Cheryl Kaufman, Wayne Orange and Brian Orange and 5 great grandchildren.
