Valeta Sullivan

Valeta Sullivan, age 96, of Gatesville, passed away on Friday, April 16, 2010 at a local nursing center. Graveside services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Comanche. No visitation is scheduled. Valeta was born on December 4, 1913 in Bosque County, TX to the late Austin and Derah Flanary Anderson. As a young adult she moved to California. She met and married Harold Sullivan. After his death in the late 70’s she moved back to Texas. Valeta enjoyed working in the yard, and watching sports on television. She loved her dogs. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, Russell Anderson, and two sisters, Vera Ledger and Talma Haile. She is survived by her sister -in- law, Marge Anderson of Comanche; nieces and nephews, Jan Landua, Tom Haile, Jim Haile, Austin Anderson, and Lynn Anderson; and many great nieces and nephews.
