Martina G Navejas

Martina G. Navejas, age 82 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, May 13, 2010 at a McGregor nursing center. Funeral services are scheduled for 4:30 P.M. on Saturday, May 15, 2010 at the Scott’s Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Juan Quijano officiating. Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery. The family will receive visitors from 7-8:00 P.M. on Friday at the funeral home. Martina was born on April 3, 1928 in Mexico to the late Anselmo and Feliciana Garcia Navejas. She married Fernando Sanchez in Mexico. She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband. Martina is survived by sons, Juan, Gregorio, Gabriel, Miguel, and Jose Sanchez; daughters, Maria Avila, Luz Vargas, and Socorro Rivas; 34 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
