Evelyn C. Curci

Mrs. Evelyn Christine Curci, age 91, of Gatesville, passed away on Wednesday, May 26, 2010. Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 A.M. Saturday, May 29, 2010 at Restland Cemetery with Jim Hall officiating. No visitation is scheduled. Mrs. Curci was born on May 21, 1919 in Gatesville, TX to the late Robert L. and Jewel Doss Clemons. She grew up and attended school in Gatesville. She later graduated from Beauty School in Waco. She worked as a Greyhound Ticket Operator in Gatesville. She resided for many years in Hemphill, TX and San Augustine, TX before moving to Hamilton, and finally back to her hometown of Gatesville. She was formerly a member of the Gatesville Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Curci, her parents, and a brother Dean Clemons. She is survived by sons, Jim Thomson of Florida and Bob Thomson of Gatesville; 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Memorials may be made to the Gatesville Church of Christ or to the charity of your choice.
