Frankie W. Jackson

Frankie Jackson, long time resident of Port Arthur, TX, passed away, Saturday, October 2, 2010 at the age of 91. Graveside Services will be will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 9, 2010 in the Turnersville Cemetery. Procession will leave Scott’s Funeral Home at 12:15. Visitation will be prior to the procession. Frankie was born Jan. 4, 1919 to Frank and Rosa Belle Fletcher Wright of Turnersville, TX. She retired from J. C. Penney in Port Arthur where she was head of the piece goods department. She is survived by her husband of 71 years, Cecil Jackson of Port Arthur originally of Turnersville; daughter, Penny Jackson of Hudson, NY and Port Arthur; son, Cecil Ray Jackson and wife Beverly of Kyle, TX; grandchildren, Lori Gibson and husband, John of Houston, TX, Cecil Ray Jackson Jr., and wife Julie of Lufkin, TX, Clint Jackson and wife Mary of Austin, TX, Cindy Clausen and husband Russell of Spicewood and great grandchildren, John Trey and Tyger of Houston, Randy of Lufkin, TX, Cory and Katy, of Spicewood, TX; sister, Martha Lou James of Jasper, TX; brother, Jack Wright of Austin, TX and by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her mother and father, sisters, Dean Riker, Groves TX, Genevieve Parker, Shreveport, LA, Shirley Everett, Burnet TX and a brother, Frank D. Wright of Port Arthur, TX.
