Jewel Lene Floyd

Jewell Lene Floyd, age 74, of Bay City, Texas passed away Thursday, October 14, 2010. Graveside services are scheduled for 2 PM Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Restland Cemetery with Rev. David Foudray officiating. Jewel was born July 25, 1936 in Coryell County to Almeta and Jewel Rape. She was raised by her mother and step father Odie Thompson. She was a homemaker and loving wife and mother. She was also a member on many bowling leagues, winning several trophies over the years. She was a member of the Golden Avenue Baptist Church in her hometown. She was preceded in death by her parents, daughter; Sheila Floyd, sister; Jean Logan and husband Clifford, niece; Debra DeBlance and nephew; Wayne Logan. Survivors include husband; Charles Floyd, daughter; Vickie Kelems and husband Jimmy, brother; Felton Thompson and wife Melda, grandchildren; Danielle England and husband Chris, Desira Russell and husband Adrain, Ian Charles Stewart and Lawson Stewart, great grandson; Darian Steven Hal Russell and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
