Jessie Morene Henderson

Jessie M. Henderson, 83, of Gatesville, passed away on November 27, 2010 at a local hospital. Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 AM Tuesday November 30, 2010 at Restland Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5-7 PM on Monday at the funeral home. Ms. Henderson was born on October 5, 1927 in Gatesville to the late Paul William and Vera Mae Woodlock Alford. She has lived in Waco and Killeen before moving back to Gatesville in 2006. Jessie was a very independent person who loved to travel. She also enjoyed working in different offices as a secretary and later as a phone salesperson. Jessie was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Doris Marie Golding. She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Kay Basham-Burns and husband Tommy of San Antonio, TX; niece, Donna Marie Burton and a nephew, Dale Golding.
