Amy Jo James

Amy Jo James, age 35, of Gatesville, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2018.  Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m., Saturday, October 27, 2018 at Oasis Worship Center.Amy was born on April 8, 1983 in Ft. Worth, TX to Paula Young and Donald James.  She grew up and attended school in Gatesville.  Amy loved being around people and socializing, she loved her family and friends, especially her nieces and nephews.  Amy had her own style, “Bold and Blunt”, but very loving.  She loved to laugh, and cut-up. She had a love for animals, especially her dog, Hank.  Amy liked to travel; she got to make a couple of tours of the United States with her dad.  Amy had a huge heart that loved many and will be truly missed by those who knew her and loved her.She was preceded in death by her father and grandparents.Amy is survived by her mother, Paula Young; sister, Michelle Stiglitz and husband, Frank Jr.; nieces, McKenzie and Kloye Feldman; nephews, Talon Feldman and Aycen Stiglitz; best friend, Nicole Carter and her husband, Ronnie; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.Memorials may be made to The Big Sting, 3417 Imperial Dr., Gatesville, TX 76528.
