Ann Davidson

Ann Davidson, age 89 of Gatesville, passed away surrounded by her loved ones on Saturday, February 19, 2022 in Crockett.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 26, 2022 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel in Gatesville, with Dr. Levi Price officiating.  Burial will follow at Davidson Cemetery.

Edith JoAnn Davidson was born on June 29, 1932, in Dallas to the late William and Edith Eidson Gillon. She grew up in Highland Park of Dallas and graduated from Highland Park High School.  Ann later attended Texas Tech University where she met the love of her life on a blind date, Dan Graves Davidson of Gatesville. Dan and Ann were married December 18, 1952.

Ann was preceded in death by her loving husband, Dan Davidson and a daughter, Diane Davis.

Ann is survived by her daughter, Dorothy Hames and husband, Gary of Keller; son, David Davidson and wife, Erin of Lovelady; son, Douglas Davidson and wife, Peggy of Gatesville; grandchildren, Nick Hames of Fort Worth, Lauren Lansing of Fort Worth, Dawson Davidson of Willis, Tristen Blanchard of Willis, Dan Davidson of Gatesville, Jonathan Davis of Houston and Garett Davis of Glen Rose; and twelve great-grandchildren.
