Barbara Kircus, age 71 of Evant, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at her home.
Private Celebration of Life services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Saturday, November 25, 2023, at a family retreat.
Barbara Kay Kircus was born on October 19, 1952, to the late Troy and Patsy Westbrook Wilson in Idabel, Oklahoma. She grew up in the Houston area. Barbara was a loving and beautiful woman. Some of the things she loved to do were dancing, singing, baking, and cooking. She would sing “Amazing Grace” while baking her famous yeast rolls from a recipe taught to her by her mother. Her family was her greatest love, and she was proud of the adults her children had become. Barbara was also known for her amazing, warm hugs. She hugged fully, and with her whole heart. Barbara was a short, petite woman, who had a giant heart, and is loved by and will be missed by all who know her.
Barbara was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Rena; nephew, Sammy; and niece, Shelley.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Roger “Terry” Kircus; children, Jack Krell, Ronda Haines and husband, Eric, Jamie LeVeque and husband, James; sisters, Patty Klingeman and husband, Raymond, Carolyn Wilson, Debbie Dossey and husband, Lee; grandchildren, Benjamin and Madison Haines, Gavin George, and Kylie LeVeque; and numerous nieces and nephews.
