Betty Pruitt

Betty A. Pruitt, age 87 of Gatesville, passed away on Saturday, December 3, 2022 in Gatesville.

Private graveside services were held at Restland Cemetery.

Betty Ann Pruitt was born on February 8, 1935 in the Plainview community of Coryell County to the late Dink and Josephine Bradford Dyer.  She grew up in Gatesville and graduated from Gatesville High School in 1953.  She married James N. Pruitt on June 8, 1953.  They resided in Tacoma, Washington and Waco, moving back to Gatesville in 1985.  She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church in Waco.  Her husband preceded her in death in 2013.

Betty is survived by a daughter, Kathy Reagan and husband, Lesslie; granddaughter, Amanda Kay Fulton and one grandson, James Aaron Cox and wife, Rebecca.
