Billie Sue Hale

Billie Sue Hale, age 88, of Oglesby, passed away Thursday, September 20, 2018.  No services are scheduled.Billie Sue was born on March 17, 1930 in the Ross Community of Coryell County, Texas.  She was a Jehovah’s Witness and a member of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses in Gatesville.  She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, gardening, and loved to go antiquing.She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Allen and Ora Alice (Ashby) Hale; two brothers, Lloyd Lee Hale and James Allen Hale; one sister, Reba Jo (Hale) Spencer; one son-in-law, Owen Frank Jones; and one brother-in-law, Michael Boyer.Billie Sue is survived by her sons, Jimmy Roland Thurmond and Shane Campos and wife, Taylor; daughters, Darlene (Thurmond) Jones, Scharlene Thurmond, and Shawnarey Lucko and husband, Radney; sisters, Sheila Boyer and Sharon Clemons and husband, Charles; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
