Bobby Joe Williams

Bobby Williams, age 56 of Gatesville, passed away on Sunday, November 24, 2024.

Memorial services are being planned for a future date.  

Bobby Joe Williams was born July 17, 1968, to the late Larry Lee and Beverly Grubbs Williams in Eldorado, Illinois. He grew up and attended school in Eldorado, moving to Gatesville in his early 20’s. He was a home builder by trade and owner of BJW Construction Company in Gatesville. Bobby’s talents were many, as he was one of the few who knew how to build a wooden spiral staircase. Bobby had a tremendous heart and was always willing to help those in need. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends and family. He was a member of Mound Cowboy Church and always brought a smile to those around him and was always willing to say a prayer when called upon. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Lisa “BB” Marie Williams.

Bobby Joe is survived by his sister, Gina Rushing; two brothers, Larry and Erin Williams; and three nephews, Leslie Fly, Timmy Fly, and Christopher Williams and wife Alicia.
