Bradley Lynn Key

Bradley Lynn Key, age 47, of Gatesville, passed from this life Friday, May 18, 2018.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wray Nunn officiating.  Burial will follow at Restland Cemetery.  Visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at the funeral home.Bradley was born on July 24, 1970 in Gatesville, Texas to Willard Key and Donna Faye Altum Key.  Bradley was the grandson of the late Bob and Zela Altum and Herman and Christine Key.  He made a living by doing yard work, tree work, building fence, oil field work, and helping his stepdad in the masonry business.  He loved to hunt arrowheads and unusual rocks, as well as to fish and hunt.  Bradley loved get-togethers with friends and family.  His favorite times were spent with his children and grandchildren, which were his pride and joy.  They all loved their “Pappy” very much!  Getting down on the floor and scuffling and giving them wild horse rides was what brought joy to his heart.  Bradley so enjoyed time spent with his son, Brandon and daughter, Haley.  His son, Brandon, was taken from him on July 6, 2012, which left him with a heartache he could never get over.  His life was a hard one, as the devil always tried to destroy him, but he loved and believed in God with all his heart. He was preceded in death by his father, Willard Key; son, Brandon Kyle Anderson; and brother, Terry Douglas Key.Bradley is survived by his daughter, Haley Bullard and husband, Justin; mother and stepdad, Donna and O’Dale Gummelt; grandchildren, Braxton, Conner, Easton, Ariel, Kendall, and Kennedy; sisters, Sheila Salter and husband, Chuck, Janie Suttles, Shannon Wightman, Amanda Key, Vicki Turner and husband, Todd, and Shanda ONeil; brothers, Curtis Key, Randy Key and wife, Lisa, and Chad Key; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.  He also leaves behind many good friends.  He will be missed tremendously.
