Brenda Hilliker

Brenda Hilliker, age 66 of Gatesville, passed away on Tuesday, February 28, 2023.

Memorial services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Gatesville Church of Christ, with Rev. Wray Nunn and Felicia Inman officiating.

Brenda Diane Hilliker was born on November 28, 1956 in McGregor, to the late Langston (Lank) and Alma Jean Thompkins DeChaume.  She graduated from McGregor High School and received a dietary manager certificate from T.S.T.C. in Waco.  She worked in the food service industry at the Rotunda, Osage Care Center, Hillside Medical Lodge and the Intermediate School for Gatesville I.S.D.

Brenda is survived by her children, Patrick Hilliker and wife, Patty, Chris Hilliker and wife, Amanda; sisters, Shirley Oliver, Nita Marek, Nell Deming; grandchildren, Alizabeth, Deygan, Gracie, Adam, Malaina-Jo, Nathiaus, Madelynn, Jimmy, Noah; great grandchildren, Abram, Quenbi; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family wishes to express their appreciation to Dr. Tim Maynard and the staff at Hillside Medical Lodge.
