Carolyn Ann Irish

Carolyn Ann Lee Irish, age 78 of Gatesville, went to be with The Lord, in the comfort of her home on Friday, August 12, 2022.

Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2022, at Scott’s Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Larry Williams officiating. 

Carolyn Ann Irish was born on December 24, 1943 in Marlin.  She was the daughter of the late Mike and Juanita Glidewell Kruse.  She worked for the McLennan County Sheriff’s Office from 1988 until her retirement in 2008.  She loved her family, her dogs, sewing, woodwork and fishing. 

She is survived by her daughter, Misty Yoakum Diserens and husband, Richard; sister, Lorraine Witske; grandchildren, Wyatt Smith and wife, Seanna, Brittany Diserens & Ben Rosas, Jacob Smith & Hannah Leonard, Landon Diserens and wife, Cassidy; seven great-grandchildren, Wade Smith, Evelyn Brewer, Twila Brewer, Nikolas Brewer, Skylar Diserens, Raylen Diserens, Waylen Diserens; numerous nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews; and a very close friend, Ann Douga.
