Charla Ann Stifflemire

Charla Ann Stifflemire of Gatesville, passed away peacefully in her sleep in the morning hours of Tuesday August 24, 2021 at the age of 47.

Funeral services will be 10:00 am Monday, August 30, 2021 at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Coffey cemetery. Visitation with the family will be one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.

Charla was born on October 13, 1973, in Hamilton to the late Charles W. Stifflemire and Ruth Cantrell Stifflemire.  Charla was a wonderful wife and mother who spent the last few years of her life at home raising her two boys and teaching them lessons that they will remember for years to come. Charla never turned down the chance to go fishing, where she would reminisce on memories and tell stories about fish, and boats, and snakes in trees. She will be missed by her family, friends, and others whom were inspired by her strength.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Ruth Stifflemire; uncles, Ray Floyd Stifflemire, Glenn Earl Stifflemire, David Stifflemire, and Raymond Cantrell.

Charla is survived by her two sons, Blake and Rowdy Stifflemire; along with husband, Frederick Harris; sister, Carla and husband, Robert Genovese; uncles, Keith Stifflemire and Robert Stifflemire; cousin, Duane Cantrell; and a great aunt, Tooter
