Charles Dale Teague, age 88, of Gatesville, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018. Private services will be held at Feazle Rock Cemetery in San Saba with full military honors. Charles was born on June 8, 1929 to Roy Lee and Ethel Mae Teague in Algerita, Texas. He was raised and went to school there. Charles entered the US Army in 1948, where he served 20 years. He fought in the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War, retiring in 1968 as a Warrant Officer I. He married and had five children. He later remarried Virginia Salinas and had three children. He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy Lee and Ethel Teague; sisters, Frances Ohnheiser and Dorothy Roberts; brothers, Roy Lee Teague and Henry Teague; brothers-in-law, Tom Roberts and Detroit Romair; and nephews, Darrell Teague and Detroit Romair, Jr..Charles is survived by his wife, Virginia Teague; children, Annette Romer and husband, Thomas, Ronnie Teague and wife, Mona, Charles Teague and wife, Anna, Danny Teague and wife, Beverly, Sara Jones and husband, Jimmy, Veronica Arrington and husband, Kenneth, Sharon Trahern and husband, Mark, and Karen McAdams and husband, Daniel; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and sister, Aleen Romair.
