Clarence Beasley, age 81, of Gatesville, passed from this earth to his heavenly home, Friday, June 8, 2018, with his loving wife and cousin, Edna Logan, by his side.  Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at Scott’s Funeral Home with Rev. Al Keech and Rev. Daniel Crowther officiating.  Burial will follow at Flint Creek Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral services.Clarence was born on February 5, 1937 in Coryell County, Texas to the late Levi Beasley and Berdie Neatherlin Beasley.  Clarence served in the US Air Force for over three years and worked as a mechanic for the Strategic Air Command at Carswell AFB in Fort Worth.  While stationed there, his only daughter, Tammy, was born.  During his career, he served in law enforcement for over 12 years, owned and operated several paint and body shops.  He retired from T.D.C.J.-I.D. with over 11 years of service. In his retirement years, he thoroughly enjoyed buying and selling items such as: cars, tractors, and RV’s.He was preceded in death by his parents; brother and sister-in-law, Gary and Debbie Beasley; son-in-law, Thomas Nipper; and step-great-grandson, Riley Rodriguez.Clarence is survived by his wife, Sybil Beasley; daughter, Tammy Nipper; step-children, Al Keech and wife, Judy, Felica Smith and husband, Larry, Kimberly Douma and husband, Daniel; sister, Joy Chesser and husband, Carl; grandchildren, Michael Nipper and wife, Janie, Amy Schmoyer and husband, Mike, and Lori Nipper; step-grandchildren, Tehrah Sikes and husband, Jeremy, Alan Rodriguez, Staci Pace and husband, Andy, Stephen Keech and wife, Christy, Kelli Bauer, Seth Smith, Mariam Douma, Timothy Douma, and Maleah Douma; and eight great-grandchildren.Memorials may be made to Concerns of Police Survivors, Greater Houston C.O.P.S., 1600 State Street, Houston, TX 77007.
