Crystal Nagle-Henager

Crystal (Snoddy) Nagle-Henager was tragically taken away from us on Monday, June 3, 2024 at the age of 50. 

 A Celebration of Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2024, at King Baptist Church. 

Crystal was born October 29, 1973 to John and Ruth (Sutton) Snoddy in Arlington, Texas. She grew up in Gatesville surrounded by countless family members and spent most of her childhood going on the truck with her parents, traveling around the United States. Crystal attended school in Gatesville and later received an associate’s degree in business at Vista College. When Crystal got older, she loved to travel on her own. While traveling, she met her first love, Daniel Nagle, on a bus while sharing a pillow. They were married in September of 1992 in San Antonio. They both worked as Correctional Officers in Beeville, Texas until Daniel passed away in 1999. They had four children, Elizabeth, Jonathan, Michael, and Rebecca. 

Crystal had a true love for animals and enjoyed cooking and collecting and trying new recipes. Crystal loved spending time with her family however she could. She later met her last love David Henager, and they were married in September of 2022 in Laguna Park, Texas.

Crystal was preceded in death by her first husband, Daniel Nagle; father, John Snoddy, Jr.; son, Jonathan Nagle; daughter; Elizabeth Nagle; and brother Johnny Shipman. 

She is survived by her husband, David Henager; mother, Ruth Snoddy; son, Michael Nagle; daughter, Rebecca Harborth and husband Kenneth; brother, Steve Snoddy and fiancé Dena; nephew, Jacob Snoddy and wife Lily; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends.
