Dana Featherston

Dana Featherston, age 37, of Gatesville, passed away Thursday, December 27, 2018 in Gatesville.  Services are scheduled for Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Scott’s Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Greenbriar Cemetery.  Visitation will be one hour prior to service time. Dana was born April 28, 1981 in Gatesville, Texas.  She was the daughter of James and Jackie Aslin Featherston.  She attended school in Jonesboro and graduated from Jonesboro ISD in 1999.  She was employed for TDCJ for over 14 years.  Her hobbies were attending all of her children’s school functions and enjoying life with the family. She was preceded in death by her father, James Featherston, Sr. and her grandparents Rev. J. B. and Mary Helen Featherston and Jack and Vera Aslin. Survivors include mother, Jackie Featherston; daughters, Ginger Pimento and Lisa Pimento; sons, Alex Chasteen and William Featherston; sisters, Carrie Perez and husband Tony and Patricia Ryan; brother, J. W. Featherston, Jr. and wife Brandy; nephews, Zachery Raines, Blane Featherston, Levi Featherston, Hunter Ryan and Jameson Featherston; and niece, Elena “Lena Bug” Perez; aunt and uncle, Deborah and Wayne Conger; and numerous cousins and other adopted children.
